Quality, Not Quantity?!?

Rest assured... I have every intention of blogging, more so than you have witnessed over the course of these past seven months (March 20th?!? ... ugh).

I have varied interests, and I occasionally jump amongst those interests... and time passes before I find myself coming back around to those others I, at that stage, must rediscover.

Life is changing quickly (I will elaborate more in the future).

Welcome Back!

Recently, I have pondered bringing this blog back to life. It has been sitting dormant since 2015... my last post (now archived... along with all previous posts) being published following my running the 2015 Pittsburgh Full Marathon.

The last words of that post stated by goal for the 2016 Pittsburgh Half Marathon... to finish under 2:05. That goal was accomplished with gusto, as I finished in 1:47 (1:42 in 2017 before my times started slipping).

I would like to claim an awakening as to why I decided to bring back this blog. Alas, no such awakening occurred. To put it simply: I find myself thinking more deeply about life, and Twitter is not always the greatest forum for deep thought (though the 280 character limit & threading of tweets does allow the occasional deep dive... and I do not know how anyone survived with a mere 140 characters).

I wish to keep this first post back relatively short, so I will simply introduce myself:

Name: Jonathan
Age: 33 (34 on July 16th)
Hometown: Washington, PA
College: Waynesburg University
Reside: Canonsburg, PA
Profession: Payroll Accountant
Marital Status: Hopeless Romantic (Single)
Twitter Handle: @JGaret167

I have no idea as to what my schedule may be as it relates to posting... though I doubt it will be consistently regular. I do, however, have an idea as to what my writings will involve:

My Life
Current Events
Dating Apps
Politics
Work
Sports
Social Media & The Destruction of Civil Discussion

.
.
.

You know... minor things. LOL!

Anyways, to finish this first posting back, I'll continue with my sentiment from my Twitter thread today: Let's all work together in harmony and peace to bring about prosperity. Let's love each other. I sincerely hope to gather a following and that we may take this journey of life together.

Health & Happiness
Peace & Ponderance
Love & Laughter
